Christmas Bird Count 2007
The 37th Moncton CBC when on Saturday December 15 last under sunny skies but with temperature at -12 in the morning and winds hovering around 40 km it was an unusually cold count for Moncton. In fact the snow cover was also out of character for the Moncton CBC as we have rarely had so much at least in the recent years. But still 30 brave souls were out and about and 5 more counted birds from feeders. The final tally as posted to the Audubon site was 16 200 birds of 54 species for count day and 3 more during count week.
