Websites:
This
is the website based on Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" where
it gives information on the movie or DVD and what you can do to help. Below are some miscellaneous factoids
that will probably shock you. Hopefully enough to inspire you.
If we all do our best to go green, we can change some of the statistics.
We can help Mother Earth. Here
you will find resources and contacts to assist your community, school or
business with waste minimization and conservation initiatives. Waste
Reduction week is in October. Habitat
for Humanity ReStores are building supply stores that accept and resell
quality new and used building materials. They generate funds to support
Habitat's building programs, while reducing the amount of used materials
that are headed for overflowing landfills! They are an environmentally
friendly store that makes sense!http://habitat.ca/restoresc648.php Looking
